Maybe I am showing my age. But, I remember when 10 was the perfect number. Who can forget Bo Derek, cornrows and a macrame bikini? I digress. It seems that researchers in Britain have quantified the perfect body and they say that the magic number is .7. This number describes the hip to waist ratio. It seems that Jessica Alba possesses the magic number. Who am I to argue with PhD mathematicians?

25.2'' waist to 36'' hips is indeed a ratio of .7 However, to say that ratio alone is the perfect proportion is overlooking one very important thing.
A 50.4'' waist 72'' hips is a ratio of .7 too.
