It is good to see the EU so concerned about life and death in the US. It is even better to see the governor of Texas telling the Europeans what he thinks about their concern. However, I would offer an alternative the Europeans. If they do not want us to execute criminals they can take them off of our hands and provide for their well being as citizens of whatever EU nation decides to keep them. Of course, they would not be allowed back and would have their US citizenship revoked. If this is not acceptable, the Texan response is fine.

Once again, what is this fascination liberals have with round looking numbers? The 397th execution in Texas - no biggie, business as usual. 400 and we start a publicity stunt. 3,000 soldiers killed in Iraq and we get story after story. 3, 037 - Yawn. I guess round numbers make for better headlines.
I'd tell the EU to go fix the genocide in their backyard and once they get that done come talk to us about executing brutal murderers. Check that, why don't you EU types stop off in Darfur first and clean that up too. And then swing by China and North Korea and deal with them. After that, let's talk.
